Outliers: The Story of Success
By Malcolm Gladwell
Rating: 7

For all the negativity surrounding this book, I thought that most of it had merit. And for someone to shout against the self-made success myth in a compelling way is always welcome and makes it worth reading.
Gladwell’s an entertaining writer, even if the implications of what he’s saying this time doesn’t seem as earth-shaking as his first two books. When it comes down to it, so much of what makes us successful is completely out of our control, so why think about it?
