This book was recommended by a friend, and I borrowed it when we took our new camera to Paris. I’ve just re-read it, and found it really helpful. It goes through the basics of exposure, and is particularly helpful when it shows a series of pictures to show you the difference between an f/22 and an f/4 shot. I highly recommend this book if you’re starting out with photography and you have access to an SLR camera.
