It just gets funnier. Michael Scott, as the boss, so desperately wants to be liked and accepted by his employees, and yet painfully misses the mark each time. He’s clearly oblivious to his own authority in the company, and cluelessly abuses his power again and again.

Plus, the growing relationship between Jim and Pam also has its own pull. Yes, I am addicted to yet another TV show, but it doesn’t rule my life the way “Lost” did. And since I’m a supervisor in real life, this show constantly reminds me to be self-aware when I lead, so I won’t (hopefully) be that guy.
