Glen came to my book launch party, and gave me a copy of his book. (Glen, if you’re out there reading this, I owe you one.)
So I started reading it out of curiosity and was hooked. He offers a nicely-written primer on the spiritual life that involves the blend of three aspects: relational, transformational and vocational. He’s thoughtful and well-travelled, and gives us the sights and sounds of a place to head into spiritually-weighty topics. Of course, I also love his call to a more holistic gospel that isn’t merely concerned with the afterlife, and think that this is an accessible start for those interested in a further spiritual journey without watering too much down.
